The MAP · Last updated October 8, 2026

The MAP is the internal marketing and sales platform of Piedmont Plastics. This policy explains what information The MAP collects, why, who can see it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to change or delete it. It also explains how The MAP uses data it receives from Google services.

1. What The MAP is for

The MAP helps Piedmont Plastics employees understand which customers and prospects to talk to and how well our marketing works. Employees use it to review customer and prospect accounts, follow up on sales leads, plan and run email campaigns, record sales wins, and measure how our websites and advertising perform. It is a private business tool for Piedmont Plastics staff. It is not offered to the public and it is not a consumer product.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use information

We do not sell personal information. We do not use it to serve advertising to people outside our own campaigns.

4. Data from Google services

The MAP connects to Google services that Piedmont Plastics uses for its own marketing. We only access data belonging to Piedmont Plastics's own accounts and properties, and only to the extent needed for the purposes below.

Limited Use. The MAP's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In line with that policy:

Storage and security. Google data pulled into The MAP is stored in Piedmont Plastics's access-controlled database. Access tokens for Google services are kept only in server configuration and are never shown in the browser.

Retention and deletion. We keep Google data only as long as it is needed for the reporting purposes above. Disconnecting a Google service stops further collection. You can ask us to delete data we hold (section 9), and any Google account holder can revoke The MAP's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. Who we share information with

Information in The MAP is available to authorized Piedmont Plastics employees according to their role. We share it with outside companies only when they help us run The MAP, under confidentiality and data protection obligations, and only as needed for the service they provide:

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, customers or employees.

6. Artificial intelligence features

Some features send limited business information, which can include summaries of website, search or advertising performance, to an AI provider that returns a draft summary, classification or recommendation for an employee to review. We send only what the feature needs, we do not permit the provider to use this information to train its models, and a person reviews AI output before it is relied on.

7. Cookies and similar technology

The MAP uses cookies that are needed to keep employees signed in and to protect the application. Our measurement script on Piedmont Plastics websites uses anonymous identifiers, described in section 2, to recognize repeat visits.

8. Security

We use access controls based on employee roles, encryption in transit, and logging of activity to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.

9. Your choices and requests

To make a request, contact your Piedmont Plastics representative or the Piedmont Plastics marketing team.

10. Children

The MAP is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. If a change is significant we will tell The MAP users.
